You must go to see these two exhibits if you are in the area. First MASS MOCA shows BADLANDS a group exhibition "addressing contemporary ideas of exploration, population of the wilderness, land usage, environmental politics and the relativity of aesthetic beauty". Second, go to the Berkshire Botanical Gardens to see Cultivate the companion exhibit.

Back from a great Sculpture Objects and Functional Art Exposition (SOFA) where we had the opportunity to show Jamie Bennett's new work, Other highlights were Arthur Hash's ring pile above (each ring is $100 and there are still a few lingering). Thank you to all the wonderful artists who are part of the gallery and make a show like this both possible and successful.

The time has come again for the Sienna Gallery Emerging Artist Award (work by last years recipient ANYA Kivarkis shown above). This time we are dividing it into two sections. EAone is for artists who want to submit one of a kind work and EAtwo is for those who make multiples. We hope to have a blog that answers your questions soon The application for EAone will be available July 1 here. Deadline is August 30th.
