BETTINA SPECKNER

Bettina Speckner began her studies in the painting department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. A few years after she moved to the jewelry program, studying under Herman Junger and Otto Kunzli. Her painting knowledge and interest in photo imagery and form translates to her jewelry in a unique and special way- she is able to transport the viewer to the exact emotion that each image evokes. Bettina has received many awards and accolades for her work including the prestigious Herbert Hoffmann Prize, and The Prize of the State of Bavaria. Besides teaching master classes and giving lectures at universities around the world, Bettina's work is in large private collections and various museums including the Danner Foundation, Munich; the Museum of Applied Art, Munich and the Museo de l'Horlogerie et de l'Emaillerie, Geneva.
